Important Update

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As you are aware, one of the DDE staff members, Jonathan Liano, was arrested Friday, Sept. 14, 2018. The district was notified of this arrest on Saturday morning, Sept. 15, 2018 by Berlin Township Police Chief Len Check, at which time Mr. Liano was placed on administrative leave effective immediately.
When students return to school on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, counselors will be available for students. We will proceed with the regular Monday schedule at JFK and DDE with all planned activities, including Picture Day at DDE.
The students and staff demonstrate their strength, kindness, and compassion each and every day. We, the Administrative Team of the Berlin Township School District, are confident that everyone in the Berlin Township School District Family, including parents, guardians, and other community members, will support each other during this difficult time.
If you have any specific questions or concerns about the Criminal Investigation of this event, please contact the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Thank you for your support of the students and staff during this time.

Student Clever Sign in

This year we are using a website portal called Clever. Clever is a one-stop spot to get all the important links that your students use. Not only does Clever have the most used links, some of the programs that are supported will also auto-log your student in! No remembering a dozen different usernames and passwords!!

To access Clever, you need to use the Chrome browser and go to: www.clever.com/in/berlin-twp

Then you will "Log in with Google" using your school assigned FULL email address (with the @btwpschools.org at the end) and password.

Then you will install the Clever Extension - just follow the link and click install. (If you do not do this step, the links will not auto-log you in!!!)

You should be able to then click on any of the links and will be auto logged into MOST of the programs :)

There are a few that still do not support Clever, so those you will still have to manually log into. Your teacher will make sure you have the correct passwords for those.

There is also a Clever app for the iPad if you use that instead of a computer.

Welcome Back

Dear J.F.K. Parents & Guardians,

It is with much excitement and great anticipation to welcome you to the 2018 – 2019 school year as Principal of the John F. Kennedy Elementary School. I trust that all of you have enjoyed the change of pace that the summer brings to refresh and rejuvenate.  We are looking forward to working together with you to ensure another productive and successful school year at the John F. Kennedy School.

Student Arrival and Dismissal Procedures – If you are dropping off/picking up, please park on Mount Vernon Avenue. If you plan on using the front loop, please do not park your car inside the loop as this impedes our arrival/dismissal process and is dangerous to other families dropping off/picking up. Additionally, once your student(s) have safely exited on the curb side, please pull away from the curb to allow space for other families still arriving.

NotePlease remember to bring photo ID when picking up your student(s).

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at mmurphy@btwpschools.org or the Main Office Secretary; Janett Masterson at jmasterson@btwpschools.org or via phone (856) 767-9480 ext. 1310.
