Ms. Sebastiano graduated with honors from Rutgers in New Brunswick, NJ.  She received her Masters Degree in School and Public Librarianship from Rowan University. She is a member of NJASL (New Jersey Association of School Librarians) and continues to attend workshops to keep current in the library field. She is certified in the State of New Jersey as a school librarian for grades PreK to 12.



Ms. Sebastiano came to the John F. Kennedy School in 2006 when it was a preschool through fourth grade school. Currently she teaches teaches grades PreK to grade 3. All students have at least one 45 minute library class per week. Classes consist of stories, games, songs, literacy skills as well as time to read and check out books. Lessons are designed using ALA (American Library Association) Standards for 21st Century Learners.
